Job Title: Formulation Chemist – Detergents & Cosmetics
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Formulation Chemist to lead the research, development,
and formulation of a wide range of household cleaning products and personal care items.
This includes antiseptics, dishwashing liquids, surface cleaners, glass cleaners, hand
soaps, and basic cosmetic formulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize formulations for antiseptics, dishwashing liquids, surface
- cleaners, and glass cleaners.
- Formulate personal care products such as hand soap, body wash, and basic
- skincare items. Conduct lab-scale development and scale-up for production.
Requirements:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience formulating cleaning or cosmetic products.
- Strong understanding of surfactants, emulsifiers, preservatives, and fragrance
- systems. Knowledge of regulatory standards NAFDAC.
