Job Summary:
The Hotel Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment throughout the hotel to ensure safety, efficiency, and uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment, including lighting, wiring, panels, and power outlets.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, hotel policies, and local regulations.
- Assist with energy-saving initiatives and recommend improvements for efficiency.
- Support other maintenance staff with technical expertise when required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Trade certification or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in hospitality or commercial buildings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergencies effectively.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
