Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the hotel’s operations across all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, kitchen, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and visibility initiatives to drive foot traffic, bookings, and increase revenue.
- Ensure top-tier guest experience while maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and hospitality.
- Identify and execute cost-effective measures without compromising service quality.
- Drive sales and create local partnerships to promote the hotel within the Imo State community and beyond.
- Maintain accurate records of finances, operations, and staff performance.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and excellence among staff. Monitor and respond to guest feedback and implement changes for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing hotel operations, preferably in Eastern Nigeria.
- Strong knowledge of local customs, customer behavior, and hospitality expectations in the South-East.
- Excellent sales and marketing skills with a track record of increasing hotel revenue.
- Ability to analyze market trends and apply innovative strategies to stay competitive.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel management systems and reporting tools is a plus.
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
