Position Summary
The Lead – HR & Administration will oversee all human resources and administrative
functions, ensuring alignment with company objectives and compliance with applicable
laws. This role will serve as the primary link between management and employees,
fostering an engaged, productive, and compliant workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Oversee all activities of the HR department, including recruitment, onboarding,
training, and employee relations.
- Understand and address staffing requirements across all departments.
- Coordinate with contractors for recruitment and management of contract
workers.
- Develop and implement hiring and training procedures for new employees.
- Direct and coordinate work activities with Heads of Departments (HODs) and
staff.
- Monitor employee performance, morale, and workplace culture, ensuring
positivity and productivity.
- Conduct regular employee progress reviews and handle grievances effectively.
- Maintain payroll records for contract workers and staff, ensuring accuracy and
compliance.
Administration
- Liaise with government officials during periodic inspections.
- Maintain strong relationships with relevant government agencies, ensuring
timely compliance with labour, environmental, and other regulatory
requirements.
- Manage licenses, permits, and payments to government bodies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years’ HR experience, including at least 5 years in a
manufacturing environment with 200+ employees.
- Proven experience interacting with government agencies (Labor, Environment,
etc.).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 QMS standards (preferred).
Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of human resources best practices.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proven track record in developing and motivating teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Word).
- Knowledge of biometric attendance and payroll systems (preferred).
