We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our sales organisation, drive revenue growth, and build strong customer and partner relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the company’s sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team focused on acquiring and retaining merchants, partners, and enterprise clients.
  • Drive business development initiatives , identifying new market opportunities and establishing key partnerships.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to refine offerings and ensure market fit.
  • Lead negotiations for major accounts and partnerships, ensuring profitable and sustainable deals.
  • Establish sales processes, KPIs, and reporting systems to track and optimise performance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
  • Represent Angala Fintech at industry events, conferences, and in high-level customer engagements.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales leadership within fintech, financial services, or digital payments.
  • Strong network and relationships with banks, merchants, agents, and fintech partners in Nigeria.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and close large-scale deals and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience in building and mentoring sales teams .
  • Deep understanding of digital payments, lending solutions, and financial technology landscape .
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making and pipeline management.
