- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead and grow our showroom operations in Calabar.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales performance, maintaining exceptional showroom standards, and act as a brand ambassador.
- This role requires a results-oriented individual with a strong retail sales background, preferably in furniture and interior décor, with the ability to inspire a team and deliver consistent growth.
Responsibilities
- Sell the company’s extensive range of furniture, consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Promote brand awareness locally and represent the brand as a showroom ambassador at the highest standard.
- Proactively generate orders through showroom stock, catalogues, and client consultations, including offering customized furniture and fabric options.
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to plan and execute seasonal furniture promotions.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and quarterly sales reports, while providing management with customer feedback and market insights.
- Lead, mentor, and support showroom staff, ensuring team building, effective communication, and performance development.
- Monitor competitor activities and keep up to date with global interior design trends to inform sales strategies.
- Ensure compliance with store initiatives, SOPs, and company policies, updating procedures annually where necessary.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Interior Decoration (from a recognized/accredited institution in Nigeria).
- Strong retail sales background (furniture/interior décor experience is an advantage).
- Knowledge of design, trends, and styles.
- Energetic, outgoing, and target-driven personality.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Salary
- N300,000 – N400,000 + incentives monthly.
