Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed information on menu items when needed
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff
- Serve meals and drinks efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and temperature
- Check on customers regularly to ensure satisfaction and promptly handle any issues or requests
- Clear and reset tables after each guest or course
- Process customer payments using cash, POS terminals, or other accepted methods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and service stations Follow all food safety and hygiene standards as well as restaurant policies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a waiter or in customer service (preferred)
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and cleanliness
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
