The position
The Field Sales Team Lead will report to the Channel Manager, Field Sales and have overall responsibility of supervising and motivate the Field Sales Team under his/her leadership to achieve and surpass the sales targets of the company while also transforming such individuals to future leaders.
In this role, you will
- Monitor and drive achievements of sales targets by notifying team members of budget and actual performance.
- Proven ability to lead and manage multiple teams effectively, ensuring alignment with sales targets and overall business objective
- Develop and deploy plans to increase the Field Sales team’s performance in coordination with Field Sales Channel Manager. This would include setting schedules for marketing storms and activations while ensuring full participation from all team members.
- Develop a deep knowledge of the products with the ability to explain the scope of all our solutions and position accordingly.
- Analyze different training curriculum for sales agents to build their competencies, this may also include on the job training, mentoring, coaching, and buddying/shadowing.
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of Field Sales specialists engaged in promoting and selling products and services. This also includes overseeing the correspondence between sales specialists and their prospective leads.
- Spot check and randomly calling prospective customers from daily memo to ensure verification.
- Provide data, leads and reports to help the sales executives achieve their individual targets.
- Generate leads via researching potential prospects online and database.
- Provide relevant reports as specified and required.
- Monitor and send progress reports of employees, conduct performance reviews for Field Sales Specialists. Drive Business culture, policies and procedures through the team and always ensure compliance.
We are looking for people with;
- >5 years of experience in applicable role with minimum of 2 years leading a team in a fintech company
- A Bachelors’ degree from an accredited university
- Experience working in fintech or any consumer-focused business
- Proven experience in a Team Lead role.
- High-energy, creative thinking and a demonstrated history of driving results
- High level of attention to detail
- A Collaborative mindset, excellent communication and presentation skills
