The Role

We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer who isn’t just good at writing test cases — you understand systems, edge cases, data dependencies, and the domino effect of small bugs in big platforms.

You’ll own our testing strategy end-to-end, from PRD review to regression coverage, from flaky Selenium tests to CI pipelines.

You’ll be Dormot’s first dedicated QA — and the quality bar starts with you.

Responsibilities

• Design and own the QA strategy for all Dormot modules
• Collaborate with product and dev teams to review PRDs and catch edge cases early
• Build and maintain automated test suites
• Design and run manual regression plans for complex, stateful flows
• Lead API testing (Postman, pytest, REST-assured, etc.)
• Own release sign-off — functional, regression, and smoke tests
• Integrate tests into CI/CD (GitHub Actions or similar)
• Define and track test coverage , reporting bugs with clarity and context
Mentor junior testers or help structure future QA hires

Requirements

• 3–5+ years eof xperience as a QA in a SaaS or multi-module platform environment
• Solid Python + Selenium automation experience
• Strong API testing experience (manual + automated)
• Able to design test plans from scratch for edge-case-heavy features
• Experience with role/permission-based testing , token systems, and conditional logic
• Familiar with Git-based workflows and CI tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.)
• Comfortable giving pushback when features are untestable or risky
• Detail-oriented but also a big-picture thinker — cares about product quality, not just pass/fail

• SQL for data validation
• Exposure to multi-tenant systems
• Experience testing financial systems (billing, ledgers, etc.)
• Familiar with Postgres, Redis, Docker
Experience testing African SaaS platforms
