Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer to join our technology team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. This role plays a critical part in delivering reliable and secure digital solutions that support our financial and health tech services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality and functionality.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to understand requirements and user scenarios.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
- Perform regression, performance, and usability testing across web and mobile platforms.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and QA reviews during Agile development cycles.
- Suggest process improvements and drive adoption of QA best practices.
- Review technical documentation and product designs for testability and quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory expectations (e.g., data security, audit).
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester, preferably in fintech or health tech.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman).
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting for backend testing.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and mobile applications is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Qualifications:
- ISTQB certification or equivalent QA training.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure testing (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in financial services.
