Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Develop sales strategies and plans in consultation with the General Manager to drive business growth and profitability.
- Ensure effective implementation of sales SOPs, pricing policies, and operational guidelines.
- Monitor project pipelines, identify new business opportunities, and report regularly to senior leadership (FRT/ART).
- Prepare and manage sales budgets, oversee P&L of the Quick Bake product group, and ensure profitability growth.
Sales Execution & Performance Management
- Achieve sales targets for assigned products, regions, and key accounts through effective planning and team management.
- Conduct regular market visits to drive sales, support project development, and manage customer trials with technical teams.
- Handle customer grievances and ensure timely resolution with cross-functional collaboration.
- Monitor competitor activity, identify market threats, and suggest responsive strategies.
Customer & Key Account Management
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships across the value chain.
- Sustain existing customer base and expand brand presence through networking and stakeholder engagement.
- Actively manage Key Accounts, ensuring satisfaction and identifying new opportunities via detailed profiling and support.
- Organize seminars, workshops, and business meets to strengthen customer intimacy and loyalty.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and mentor a team of 5–6 sales professionals.
- Set individual KPIs, provide coaching and performance feedback, and ensure proper training and succession planning.
- Drive team performance through motivation and a results-oriented culture.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and submit reports such as CVR, CVI, CPR, and MUR accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, business ethics, and code of conduct.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 15 years B2B sales experience; prior experience in wheat, flour, or bakery industry is a strong advantage.
- Some B2C and brand management experience is required.
- Proven leadership experience managing a team and driving sales performance.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian/West African market with willingness for extensive travel across the region.
- Ability to relocate or be posted anywhere in Nigeria/West Africa as per business needs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
