Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive Mechanical Maintenance Officer to support the smooth running of our frozen foods production facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of all plant machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot faults and carry out timely repairs.
- Support installation and testing of new machines.
- Keep accurate maintenance records.
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements:
- B.Eng or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 1 year post-NYSC experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and safety practices.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
- Experience in food processing or cold chain equipment is an added advantage.
