Position Overview:
We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented Inventory Manager & Store Keeper to oversee and manage all store items at Fame Lagos. The role requires someone with strong organizational skills who can maintain accurate records, preserve the quality of items, and ensure smooth movement of inventory in and out of the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all items in the store.
- Record all items taken out of the store and ensure they are returned on time.
- Inspect items when they are returned to confirm they are in good condition.
- Oversee the proper handling and care of items to ensure a longer lifespan.
- Example: ensure gold cutleries are properly wiped and stored to prevent stains.
- Track all rented-out items, noting when they leave and when they return.
- Check the state of items rented out and report any damages, losses, or repairs needed.
- Organize the store to ensure items are easy to find, well-arranged, and properly labeled.
- Notify management promptly about any actions required to preserve items (e.g., maintenance, repairs, replacements).
- Conduct periodic stock-taking and submit inventory reports to management.
- Work closely with the events and operations team to prepare items needed for each project.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Store Keeper, Inventory Officer, or similar role.
- Strong record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory management software is a plus.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues with item care.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Integrity and reliability in handling valuable items.
- Ability to supervise store handlers and ensure they follow proper item care procedures.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in the hospitality, catering, or events industry.
- Basic knowledge of inventory software or ERP systems.

Pay: ₦150,000.00 per month
