Role Summary
You will be responsible for managing all financial and inventory records in the factory — ensuring materials are tracked, job costing is accurate, and production only proceeds when financially cleared. You’ll be the control tower between factory activity and financial discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Material & Inventory Control
- Track all raw material entries and usage by department (carpentry, upholstery, finishing)
- Maintain accurate stock levels and initiate restock alerts
- Issue materials strictly with job sheet or requisition approval
Job Costing & Order Tracking
- Record the Bill of Materials (BOM) for each product/job
- Track material and labor costs per job for profitability analysis
- Match jobs with customer deposits before issuing production clearance
Cash & Expense Management
- Log all petty cash usage and production-related purchases
- Reconcile expense slips and vendor invoices
- Report abnormal spending patterns or material wastage
Financial Reporting
- Submit weekly reports showing:
- Jobs in production with payment status
- Materials issued vs leftover
- Department-level consumption
- Assist accountant with reconciling factory costs with customer invoices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦75,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
Experience:
