Key Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
As an Inventory Staff member, your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving, inspecting, and accurately recording all incoming goods and materials.
- Organizing and maintaining warehouse and storage areas for optimal space utilization and accessibility.
- Conducting regular physical inventory counts and reconciling them precisely with system records.
- Identifying and promptly reporting any discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
- Monitoring stock levels closely and assisting in placing orders to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Implementing and maintaining an efficient inventory tracking system.
- Preparing and processing comprehensive inventory reports for management.
- Collaborating effectively with sales, finance, and other departments to ensure accurate stock information and smooth operations.
- Ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations within all storage areas.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- An OND/HND/BSc in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is a definite plus.
- Proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a similar relevant role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy are paramount.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software/systems (e.g., Excel, POS systems).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The physical ability to lift and move inventory as required.
Salary
N75,000 - N90,000 Monthly.
