Responsibilities:

[ ] Responsible for maintaining updates and ensures smooth client relationship until a service is finalized and delivered according to client expectations.

[ ] Secure clients for all services of the company

[ ] Collect full client requirements and forward to the concerned consultant

[ ] Handle all client communications.

[ ] Responsible for post service client follow up and feedback.

[ ] Prospecting and Lead Generation

[ ] Market Research: Identify and research new market opportunities, industry trends, and potential customer segments.

[ ] Lead Sourcing: Use various channels (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry databases, conferences, networking events, web scraping tools) to generate a list of qualified potential clients (leads).

[ ] Ideal Customer Profile (ICP): Work with marketing and sales to refine the company's ICP to target the most valuable prospects.

[ ] Outreach and Initial Engagement

[ ] Crafting Outreach Strategies: Develop and execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (e.g., email, social media, cold calls) to initiate contact with potential clients.

[ ] Value Proposition Communication: Articulate the company's value proposition clearly and compellingly in initial conversations, tailoring the message to the prospect's specific industry and pain points.

[ ] Qualification: Conduct initial meetings and discovery calls to assess a prospect's needs, budget, timeline, and decision-making authority (using frameworks like BANT: Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline).

[ ] Relationship Building and Nurturing

[ ] Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system like Salesforce or HubSpot.

[ ] Nurturing Leads: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with prospects who are not immediately ready to buy, providing them with valuable information and staying top-of-mind.

[ ] Networking: Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build a professional network and generate new leads.

[ ] Strategic Partnership Development

[ ] Identifying Partners: Research and identify potential strategic partners, alliances, or channels that can provide new routes to market or complementary offerings.

[ ] Partnership Negotiation: Initiate and negotiate partnership terms to create mutually beneficial agreements.

[ ] Managing Partner Relationships: Serve as the main point of contact for partners, ensuring the relationship is productive and goals are met.

[ ] Cross-Functional Collaboration.

[ ] Sales Handoff: Once a lead is qualified and interested, smoothly hand off the opportunity to an Account Executive or Sales Manager to close the deal.

[ ] Feedback Loop: Provide critical market feedback to the marketing, product development, and leadership teams regarding customer needs, competitive threats, and market trends.

[ ] Collaboration with Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted content (e.g., case studies, whitepapers) and campaigns that support business development efforts.

[ ] Analysis and Reporting

[ ] Tracking Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as number of new leads generated, conversion rates, lead source effectiveness, and the value of the pipeline.

[ ] Strategy Refinement: Use data-driven insights to refine outreach strategies, improve targeting, and increase the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the business development process.

Qualifications

[ ] Must reside in Cameroon

[ ] Bachelor's degree in B.M, Marketing or BA/CIM

[ ] 3+ years in business development

[ ] Candidate should be based in Douala Cameroon and should be Bilingual ( Able to speak English and French)

[ ] Experience in business consulting will be an added advantage

[ ] Strong negotiation skills

[ ] Strong communication and presentation skills

CRM experience is preferred
