Karmai Security, a forward-thinking Managed Service Provider (MSP), is seeking a high-performing Sales Development Representative (SDR). This role blends proactive sales development with long-term client relationship management. The SDR will generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting and social media engagement, nurture opportunities into active accounts, and ensure ongoing client success once business is secured. This is a dynamic role for someone with proven experience in the MSP space who thrives at both building pipelines and cultivating lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through research, outbound calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and social media marketing.
- Build a strong pipeline of potential clients in target industries aligned with Karmai Security’s services.
- Leverage content, posts, and targeted messaging across LinkedIn and other social platforms to attract and engage prospects.
Sales Development & Business Growth
- Conduct discovery calls with prospective clients to understand IT and cybersecurity needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams to craft proposals tailored to prospect requirements.
- Support the sales cycle from initial outreach through closing new business opportunities.
Account Management & Retention
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring smooth onboarding and service delivery.
- Maintain regular communication to drive client satisfaction, upsell/cross-sell services, and secure renewals.
- Track account activity, anticipate needs, and proactively address potential issues.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with marketing to align lead generation campaigns with business objectives.
- Collaborate with service delivery teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Maintain accurate CRM records, track sales metrics, and provide regular pipeline reports to leadership.
Skill Sets Required / Preferred
Experience:
- 5-6 years of sales development, account management, or business development experience within an MSP or IT services environment.
- Proven success in leveraging LinkedIn and other social platforms for lead generation.
- Strong knowledge of IT solutions, managed services, and cybersecurity offerings.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficient in CRM tools and sales reporting.
- Ability to balance prospecting with account management responsibilities.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Sales or technical certifications in IT/cybersecurity solutions are a plus.
