Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities in upstream, midstream, and downstream oil & gas markets within the country and beyond.
- Leverage your technical background to understand client requirements and align our solutions with their operational needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, engineers, and procurement teams in client organizations.
- Work closely with the engineering, operations, and commercial teams to prepare proposals, technical presentations, and bids.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to spot emerging trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Support contract negotiations, ensuring both technical feasibility and commercial profitability.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events, positioning us as a trusted partner in the oil & gas space. Drive strategic account management, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business
Requirements:
- HND/B.Sc. in Engineering, Geosciences, or a related technical field (MBA is a plus).
- 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or technical consulting within oil & gas or energy.
- Strong understanding of oilfield services, project lifecycle (exploration to production), and energy market dynamics.
- Ability to translate technical details into clear business value propositions.
- Proven track record of developing relationships that led to tangible business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and support projects.
- Ability to drive long distances and possession of a valid driver’s license.
