Job Summary
We are hiring a reliable and experienced HR/Admin Officer to manage human resources and administrative duties in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is critical in supporting staff recruitment, training, performance management, welfare, and day-to-day administrative operations to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and remains compliant with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the recruitment and onboarding of restaurant staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff records, including contracts, medicals, and documentation
- Track daily attendance, lateness, shift schedules, and leave requests
- Support disciplinary processes and ensure staff follow restaurant policies and grooming standards
- Monitor staff performance and assist with appraisals and training programs
- Manage office supplies and utilities; ensure operational needs are met across the restaurant
- Provide HR support during peak hours or emergencies
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, health regulations, and restaurant licensing requirements
- Prepare and submit regular HR and admin reports to management Assist with organizing staff meetings, communication updates, and team engagement activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2–3 years experience in HR/Admin, preferably in hospitality, QSR, or retail
- Strong understanding of labor law, staff management, and payroll basics
- Excellent communication, organization, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy restaurant environment HR certification (CIPM or related) is an added advantage
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Fill vacant roles within the required days of request
- Ensure completion of onboarding processes and medicals before deployment
Attendance & Shift Management:
- Submit daily and monthly attendance reports with no errors
- Ensure clear visibility into shift rosters and leave schedules
Staff Welfare & Performance:
- Achieve required staff participation in internal training or briefings
- Maintain minimal staff complaints through active support and communication
Administrative Efficiency:
- Avoid stock-outs of admin/cleaning supplies across the restaurant
- Ensure all staff records and files are complete and organized
Compliance & Policy Enforcement:
- Ensure full compliance with HR and safety policies during audits Ensure up-to-date documentation for all regulatory requirements
