Are you a persuasive communicator with a strategic mindset and a passion for social impact? Xavier Paisley is seeking a Fundraising Associate to help us secure funding opportunities and support the growth of our initiatives through compelling proposals and strategic outreach.
About the Role
As our Fundraising Associate, you’ll play a key role in identifying, applying for, and managing fundraising opportunities. From preparing grant applications and crafting pitch decks to coordinating with potential funders, you’ll help shape and sustain the financial future of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Research and identify relevant grants, fellowships, and funding programs
2. Prepare high-quality proposals, applications, and supporting documents
3. Develop and refine pitch decks and fundraising materials tailored to various audiences
4. Maintain a calendar of funding opportunities and submission deadlines
5. Support outreach and communication with donors, partners, and grant-makers
6. Track application outcomes and assist with reporting requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, or nonprofit development
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to synthesize information into clear, compelling proposals and presentations
- Familiarity with tools like Canva, PowerPoint, Google Slides, or proposal platforms
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
