Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven E-Commerce Business Manager to lead and manage all online business operations. You will be responsible for driving sales, improving user experience, managing marketing strategies, and overseeing daily operations on our e-commerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute e-commerce strategy to grow online sales and brand presence.
- Oversee daily operations of the e-commerce website(s) and marketplace stores (e.g., Jumia, Konga, Shopify, WooCommerce).
- Manage digital marketing campaigns including SEO/SEM, email marketing, paid ads, and social media strategy.
- Optimize product listings, pricing, and promotions to maximize conversions and revenue.
- Monitor website traffic, sales metrics, customer behavior, and ROI.
- Coordinate with logistics, customer service, and inventory teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the tech team to enhance website functionality, user experience (UX), and interface (UI).
- Build strategic partnerships with external vendors, marketplaces, and affiliates.
- Stay updated on industry trends, e-commerce tools, and competitor strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in e-commerce management, preferably in retail, fashion, or FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Woo Commerce, Magento, etc.).
- Experience in performance marketing, conversion rate optimization, and analytics.
- Proficient in Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Google Ads, and e-commerce SEO.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver under pressure.
