We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Business Development Officer

Job Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with corporate, government, and high-net-worth clients.
  • Develop and present tailored security service proposals to prospective clients.
  • Meet or exceed agreed sales targets and growth objectives.
  • Prepare and submit tenders, quotations, and bid documents in line with client requirements.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups, service reviews, and client feedback sessions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts.

Market Research & Strategy:

  • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging security needs.
  • Recommend new products, packages, or service improvements to management.
  • Participate in the development of marketing and sales strategies.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of all sales leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Security Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 - 3years of experience in business development or sales (security industry experience preferred).
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets.
  • Good understanding of security services, equipment, and solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
