Job Description
- Our client is looking for an account officer who will play a vital role in ensuring the management of financial records, ensuring accurate accounting processes, and supporting the smooth financial operation of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage credit accounts and accounts payable/receivable, including customer invoices and supplier bills.
- Handle guest billing, payment processing, and account settlements.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Support budget preparation and financial planning activities.
- Liaise with government agencies and external bodies to ensure timely filing and compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Communicate with customers, management, and suppliers to resolve financial matters.
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience
- Proficient in any accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of educational regulations and compliance requirements.
