Job Description

• Our client is looking for an account officer who will play a vital role in ensuring the management of financial records, ensuring accurate accounting processes, and supporting the smooth financial operation of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage credit accounts and accounts payable/receivable, including customer invoices and supplier bills.
• Handle guest billing, payment processing, and account settlements.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support budget preparation and financial planning activities.
• Liaise with government agencies and external bodies to ensure timely filing and compliance with financial regulations.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Communicate with customers, management, and suppliers to resolve financial matters.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education Administration, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience
• Proficient in any accounting software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of educational regulations and compliance requirements.
