4. Job Summary
The UX/UI Designer is a critical member of our shared expert pool, working across products and squads to design functional, intuitive, and compliant interfaces. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, and Compliance teams across Dragnet’s product lifecycle: Product Development, Go-To-Market, and Post-Launch Performance. You’ll use scalable design systems, UX research, and usability feedback to shape experiences that are not only beautiful but also secure and accessible. This role is highly structured and prioritises governance, compliance, and documentation fidelity.
5. Role Responsibilities
Product Development Program
- Translate validated problem statements into interaction flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Build accessible UI components using scalable design systems and Figma libraries.
- Ensure strict adherence to Dragnet’s shared design system — including tokens, components, and naming conventions. This role does not govern the design system.
- Ensure version control and audit readiness of all design assets via Notion and GitHub.
- Collaborate on onboarding asset design such as walkthroughs and tooltips.
Go-To-Market Execution
- Finalise onboarding flows and validate user-facing features before launch.
- Deliver visual assets for in-product communication, helpdesk, and marketing.
- Participate in GTM reviews and Go/No-Go checkpoints to confirm readiness.
Post-Launch & Continuous Improvement
- Use product analytics and user feedback to suggest improvements.
- Support sprint retrospectives and backlog grooming with new UI iterations.
- Document and tag post-launch UI changes for compliance traceability.
Governance, Compliance & Design Documentation
- Ensure your own design artefacts are well-documented and version-controlled.
- UX governance decisions are handled by the Head of Product & Design.
- Align components with NDPA and ISO 27001 Privacy by Design principles.
- Maintain traceability across design, QA, and deployment stages.
6. Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Centred Design, Visual Communication, Psychology, or related discipline.
Experience:
- 2–3 years of experience in UX/UI design within an Agile team.
- Experience with Figma, component libraries, and prototyping.
- Familiarity with SaaS, B2B, or enterprise platforms is a plus.
- Exposure to usability testing and user feedback interpretation.
Skills:
- Strong documentation and traceability habits (Notion, GitHub, Zoho Projects).
- Competence in designing for accessibility and responsiveness.
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of usability testing tools like Maze, Lookback, or Hotjar.
