Job Role System Administrator
location: Lagos

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive System Administrator to join our team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our hardware, software, and networks to ensure smooth IT operations and system reliability.
Responsibilities:
. Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, and system software.
. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high levels of performance, security, and availability.
. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across systems.
. Provide technical support and resolve IT-related queries from internal staff.
. Implement and oversee system backups, disaster recovery procedures, and data protection.
. Perform regular security monitoring and apply necessary updates and patches.
. Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
. Collaborate with IT team members to implement IT solutions aligned with organizational goals.
. Ensure network integrity and connectivity across all company locations.
Requirement:
. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
. Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
. Strong knowledge of systems, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
. Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux) and virtualization platforms.
. Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
