We are seeking a highly driven Sales Manager to lead and execute sales strategies for a large-scale international exhibition. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, securing sponsorships and exhibitors, and building long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders. This is a pivotal role that requires strong commercial skills, event industry knowledge, and the ability to influence senior-level decision makers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed exhibition revenue targets.
- Identify, target, and secure new exhibitors, sponsors, and partners across relevant industries.
- Create tailored proposals and sponsorship packages that deliver value to clients.
- Maintain an active pipeline and accurately forecast sales performance.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, and industry stakeholders.
- Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct client meetings, calls, and presentations to drive engagement and close deals.
Business Development & Market Insight
- Research and identify new business opportunities within target sectors and markets.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity to strengthen event positioning.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to generate new leads and partnerships.
Collaboration & Event Support
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales activities with promotional campaigns.
- Coordinate with operations and content teams to ensure exhibitor and sponsor needs are met.
- Contribute to event development by providing feedback on customer insights and commercial opportunities.
