Role Description
We're seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Representative to join our founding team and drive Rootfluence's growth across Abuja and beyond. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build substantial income while helping transform Nigerian businesses online.
You'll be responsible for:
- Identifying and prospecting Nigerian businesses needing social media management
- Conducting consultative sales meetings and presentations
- Building long-term relationships with local business owners Collaborating with our creative team to ensure smooth client onboarding
Compensation:
- Months 1-3: 12% commission on all collected revenue from your clients
- Months 4-6: 10% commission on all collected revenue
- Months 7-12: 8% commission + ₦100,000 base salary
- Year 2+: 5% commission + ₦150,000 base salary
- Monthly Commission Cap: ₦350,000 maximum per month
- Performance Bonuses: Additional rewards for exceeding targets

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Research and identify potential clients across Abuja business districts
- Conduct cold outreach via WhatsApp, phone calls, and in-person visits
- Network at local business events and entrepreneurship meetups Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools
Sales & Relationship Building:
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and strategy sessions
- Present customized solutions based on client needs and budget
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively Maintain detailed records of all prospect and client interactions
Client Transition and Retention:
- Ensure smooth handoff of new clients to creative team
- Maintain relationships with existing clients for upselling opportunities
- Gather client feedback and communicate insights to leadership Support client retention efforts through regular check-ins
Market Intelligence:
- Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies
- Identify market trends and new business opportunities
- Provide feedback on service offerings and market positioning Represent Rootfluence professionally at industry events
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience: 2+ years in B2B sales, preferably in marketing/digital services
- Education: Minimum OND/HND in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Location: Must be based in Abuja or willing to relocate
- Language: Fluent in English and at least one Nigerian local language
Key Skills:
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing
- Proficiency with smartphones, WhatsApp Business, and basic CRM tools Self-motivated with ability to work independently
