Job Summary
The Head of Resource Mobilization is responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies, establishing partnerships, securing grants, and mobilizing both financial and non-financial resources to support the organization’s mission. This role involves engaging with donors, developing proposals, and managing relationships with key stakeholders.
Job Description
- Fundraising Strategy & Implementation
Develop and execute a comprehensive resource mobilization strategy. Identify and pursue diverse funding sources, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual donors.
- Grant Writing & Proposal Development
Develop compelling grant proposals, concept notes, and funding applications. Ensure alignment with donor priorities and organizational objectives.
- Donor Engagement & Relationship Management
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, and funding agencies. Organize donor appreciation and stewardship initiatives.
- Corporate & Philanthropic Partnerships
Establish strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals. Develop CSR engagement programs and impact investment initiatives.
- Events & Campaigns for Fundraising
Plan and execute fundraising events, charity drives, and online donation campaigns. Leverage digital platforms for crowdfunding and social impact initiatives.
- Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact Reporting
Track and measure fundraising effectiveness. Prepare donor reports and ensure accountability in fund utilization.
- Team Leadership & Capacity Building
Lead and train the resource mobilization team. Build fundraising capacity across departments.
- Advocacy & External Relations
Represent the organization at donor meetings, conferences, and fundraising forums. Advocate for funding opportunities through networking and engagement.
- Special Projects
These projects include a one-time emergency response initiative from the Foundation.
