Location: Ajah, Lagos.
Salary: 130,000# -140,000#(Net)
Job Summary:
We are hiring a Repossession Officer on behalf of our client in the refrigeration and electronics sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for locating, recovering, and repossessing company assets from defaulting customers while ensuring professionalism and adherence to legal procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track and monitor accounts with defaulted payments.
- Locate customers and company assets through field visits and investigation.
- Initiate repossession activities following company policies and legal standards.
- Recover electronics, refrigeration units, or related items from defaulting clients.
- Provide accurate daily reports on all repossession efforts.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., credit, sales, legal) to ensure a coordinated approach.
- Maintain proper documentation for all recovered items and client interactions.
- Handle confrontational situations with professionalism and calm.
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE/OND; a degree is an added advantage.
- 1–2 years of experience in credit control, collections, or asset recovery.
- Good knowledge of Lagos routes, especially Ajah and its environs.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Must be able to work independently and under pressure.
- Honest, reliable, and physically fit to carry out repossession duties.
