About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) to lead multiple Agile teams supporting a large pharmaceutical client. Operating within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), the RTE will serve as the Scrum Master of multiple teams—coordinating PI Planning, managing release timelines, and aligning projected work with available resources and funding.
The RTE will also work closely with development teams and leadership to remove blockers, mitigate risks, and keep delivery on track and lead a large pharmaceutical client.. This role is a central point of communication and execution across a complex, fast-moving program.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and Agile ceremonies across multiple teams.
- Work with Product Managers, Scrum Masters, and Technical Leads to align team efforts and delivery timelines.
- Drive release planning, sprint forecasting, and capacity management using story point metrics.
- Identify delivery risks and remove impediments across teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track and communicate progress through JIRA dashboards, reports, and Agile performance metrics.
- Promote best practices in Agile delivery (SAFe, Scrum) and mentor teams to improve efficiency.
- Support technology implementation initiatives involving SAP BTP, Blue Yonder, API integrations, and other enterprise solutions.
- Ensure projects align with regulatory and industry standards common in pharma (GxP, FDA, etc.
- Requirements The role requires proven hands on experience in at least one of the following: Supply chain operation, API Integration, SAP BTP, or Blue Yonder. Proficiency in any of these areas is mandatory for a candidate to be considered.
Certification as a Scrum Master RTE, or equivalent Agile role.
4+ years of experience leading Agile teams in a Scaled Agile framework (SAFe) environment.
Strong command of JIRA, Agile metrics, multi teams coordination tools.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem solving skills.
Experience in pharmaceutical healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
