Regional Manager (South-East & South-South)
Industry: Global Food Company / FMCG
Location: South-East & South-South Region
We are currently recruiting a Regional Manager to oversee our operations across the South-East and South-South regions for a leading global food company. The ideal candidate is a strategic, result-driven leader with strong sales management experience in FMCG.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional sales plans and quotas in line with business goals.
- Support Store Managers with daily operations and performance management.
- Monitor and evaluate store and individual performances.
- Analyze sales data and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Conduct regular sales meetings, providing insights and feedback.
- Forecast quarterly and annual profits.
- Lead regional recruitment, onboarding, and training for sales teams.
- Prepare and manage the annual regional budget.
- Analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
- Address operational issues promptly with effective solutions.
- Contribute to expansion and acquisition strategies.
- Recommend new products and sales techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and store managers.
- Conduct business reviews and follow up on sales activity, product performance, customer service, receivables, and claims.
- Collaborate with logistics to forecast and meet customer needs.
- Monitor competitive activity and provide insights to improve strategies.
- Track KPIs and initiate performance improvement actions.
Requirements:
- HND/BSc in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field (Postgraduate qualification is an advantage).
- Minimum of 8 years progressive sales experience, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
