Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, and expenses.
  • Monitor and follow the trail of each order to ensure accurate processing and delivery.
  • Assist in the preparation of the budget and monitoring financial performance against the budget.
  • Tracking inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts, and coordinating with the logistics manager to manage stock effectively.
  • Managing employee payroll by making sure salaries are paid on time, calculating taxes and benefits, and ensuring timely payment
  • Preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, and keeping up to date with changes in tax laws.
  • Preparing financial statements such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements for management review.
  • Managing the payment of suppliers and the collection of payments from customers, ensuring timely settlements
  • Utilizing accounting software to manage financial data and ensuring it is up to date and secure
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate funds are available for operational needs.


Requirements:

  • BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years proven experience as a finance/Admin Officer.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulatory framework
