Product Development Manager – Personal & Home Care (FMCG)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Product Development Manager to lead the design, formulation, and launch of new soap and personal care products. This role involves working closely with R&D, marketing, regulatory, and supply chain teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of consumer-centric products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead new product development and improve existing products
- Collaborate with R&D, QC, Production, Marketing, and Sales teams
- Align product initiatives with market needs, quality standards, and manufacturing capabilitie
Lead end-to-end product development from concept to commercialization.
Conduct consumer and market research to identify gaps and opportunities.
Collaborate with R&D for formulation development and testing.
Oversee packaging design, pricing models, and launch timelines.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards.
Liaise with procurement and manufacturing to ensure material readiness and cost control.
Monitor product performance post-launch and recommend improvements.
Track industry trends and competitive activity to inform innovation pipeline.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related sciences.
5–7 years of experience in product development or R&D in personal care or household products (soap, detergents, etc.).
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and regulatory guidelines.
Excellent project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
Creative thinker with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.

Pay: ₦600,000.00 - ₦700,000.00 per month
