Major Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive eye examinations.
- Prescribing medications to treat infections, inflammation, allergies and chronic eye diseases.
- Managing eye condisitions linked to systemic diseases like diabetes or hypertension.
- Performing surgeries such as cataract removal, retinal repairs and eyelid surgery.
- Treating traumatic eye injuries surgically.
- Prescribing and adjusting glasses or contact lenses.
- Explaining diagnoses, treatment options and aftercare.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
- Proven experience.
- Valid license to practice.
- Great organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and pharmacology, with specialized knowledge in ocular diseases, treatment protocols, and surgical procedures.
- Proficient in determining appropriate treatment plans, including dosage requirements for ophthalmic medications and safe administration techniques.
- Familiar with diagnostic tools, surgical instruments, and ophthalmic imaging technologies.

Pay: From ₦1,200,000.00 per month
