Role Overview
We are seeking a smart, detail-oriented, and proactive graduate with good knowledge of Nigerian labour laws to join our team as an Operations Assistant. The ideal candidate is a young professional with practical exposure to HR or business operations who is eager to sharpen skills while contributing meaningfully to Edens projects.
Key Responsibilities
- · Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to the Operations & Programs Manager.
- · Assist in operational requirements of HR work- handling documentation, compliance, staff records, payroll support, contracts, onboarding and day to day HR administration
- · Assist in drafting, reviewing, and implementing HR and operational policies in compliance with labour laws and statutory regulations.
- · Maintain accurate employee/consultant records including contracts, leave, payroll documentation, and statutory deductions.
- · Support in coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations for outsourced staff and clients.
- · Research and monitor updates in labour laws, regulations, and HR best practices, providing reports to management.
- · Assist in preparing operational reports, correspondence, and client-facing documents.
- · Handle basic administrative functions such as scheduling, filing, and database management.
- · Uphold Eden’s values by delivering tasks with excellence, timeliness, and professionalism.
Requirements
- · Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
- · 1–2 years’ relevant experience in HR, administration, or operations (NYSC experience acceptable if relevant).
- · Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR compliance basics.
- · Smart, proactive, and eager to learn.
- · Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- · Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
