Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Mandarin Interpreter. The Mandarin Interpreter will be responsible for facilitating communication between Mandarin-speaking individuals and English-speaking individuals. Daily tasks include translating spoken and written material accurately, maintaining records of translations, assisting with interpretation during meetings and conference calls, and providing cultural context during communication. The Interpreter will work remotely to support language services across different time zones as needed.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin and English
• Proficiency in translation and interpretation techniques
• Excellent listening, speaking, and writing communication skills
• Ability to provide cultural context during interpretation
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Experience with remote communication tools and technology
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Interpretation, Linguistics, or related field is preferred
Experience in legal, medical, or technical interpretation is a plus
