You will be responsible for the efficient and thorough management of all the hotel laundry operations. You will ensure that all linens, towels, and guest laundry are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron hotel linens, towels, and guest clothing.
- Operate laundry equipment such as washing machines and dryers safely and effectively.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all laundry items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room.
- Keep track of laundry supplies and report any shortages.
- Deliver guest laundry to rooms on time and in perfect condition.
- Follow hotel policies regarding safety, hygiene, and sanitation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar laundry position, preferably in hospitality.
- Knowledge of fabric care and laundry techniques.
- Ability to operate laundry machines and other related equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the role.
