Job Title: Laundry Attendant
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Salary: ₦80,000 – ₦100,000
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at a reputable dry cleaning business in Ikeja. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of laundry operations, ensuring garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. Prior experience in a similar role is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to fabric type and cleaning requirements
- Operate commercial washing and drying equipment safely and effectively
- Iron and press garments, paying close attention to fabric care and finishing quality
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or special treatment needs
- Ensure all items are properly tagged and returned to customers accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laundry area
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards in daily operations
- Assist with general dry-cleaning duties as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Laundry Attendant or in a similar role is an added advantage
- Good knowledge of fabric care and stain removal techniques
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet for extended hours
- Trustworthy, punctual, and hardworking
Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday
