MIM Finance is seeking a driven and proactive Junior Collections Officer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a candidate who may not have direct collections experience but has strong communication skills, a professional attitude, and an interest in credit control and account recovery.

You will play a vital role in supporting our collections efforts, engaging with customers to resolve outstanding payments while maintaining a positive and respectful approach. The role is hybrid, offering a mix of remote and in-office work.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the collections team in contacting customers with overdue accounts via phone, email, or other channels.
• Follow up on payment arrangements and ensure commitments are met.
• Log customer interactions accurately and escalate difficult cases when necessary.
• Maintain a professional and courteous tone with all customer communications.
• Collaborate with the team to improve recovery processes and reduce delinquency rates.
• Learn and adhere to all internal credit and collection procedures.

Requirements

• Strong interest in collections, finance, or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented with a proactive attitude.
• Comfortable speaking with customers about payments and resolving issues.
• Basic computer literacy (e.g., Google Sheets, email handling).
• A strong sense of professionalism and empathy.

Experience in collections is an advantage but not required. Training will be provided. What We Offer
