Position Title: IT Security Specialist

Role Summary:
Our client seeks a skilled IT Security Specialist to develop, implement, and manage robust information security policies and systems across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cybersecurity, hands-on experience with modern security technologies, and the ability to train staff on best practices to protect digital assets.
Key responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's information security policies, procedures, and standards.
· Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
· Manage and administer security tools and systems, such as firewalls, antivirus, encryption, authentication, backup, and recovery.
· Research and evaluate new security technologies and solutions to enhance the organization's security posture.
· Report and document security issues and incidents, and provide recommendations and solutions
Minimum Requirement
· First degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field
· Professional certification CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ etc. will be an advantage.
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in information security or a similar role.
· Knowledge of information security principles, frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and COBIT.
