The Investment and Partnership Manager will lead the development and implementation of investment and partnership strategies to drive economic growth, promote business development, and enhance international trade competitiveness. This role will oversee the LoveWorld Trade & Investment Centre (LTIC) and collaborate with Strategic Business Organisations (SBOs), government agencies, and other stakeholders to identify and capitalise on investment opportunities.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Investment Strategy & Mobilization:
- Design and execute a comprehensive investment strategy aligned with departmental programs and goals.
- Develop investor pipelines and present investment-ready projects tied to departmental initiatives. Oversee capital-raising efforts from venture capitalists, donors, angel investors, DFIs, and strategic sponsors.
Partnership Development and Management:
- Identify, negotiate, and formalise partnerships with:
- Local and international development agencies
- Investment networks and consortia
- Private sector leaders and trade institutions Manage Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), partnership agreements, and collaborative project execution plans.
Collaboration with SBOs:
- Facilitate funding access for SBOs by:
- Connecting them to relevant financing opportunities and investors
- Preparing them for investor readiness through advisory, pitching, and due diligence support
- Curating matchmaking events via LTIF and TSGI platforms Monitor SBO partnerships and track outcomes from financial or resource-based collaborations.
Program Support and Deal Structuring:
- Design investment and partnership components for key programs such as: LoveWorld Trade & Investment Summit (LTIS), BEGI and ERP and AgroGlobal Connect Advise on innovative financing models, including impact investing, blended finance, and profit-sharing structures.
Stakeholder Engagement and Advocacy:
- Represent the Department in high-level investment forums, economic summits, and trade delegations.
- Build stakeholder confidence through transparency, strong due diligence, and professional engagement. Advocate for policy environments that encourage investment in LoveWorld Nation businesses and initiatives.
Other Responsibilities:
- Capital Mobilisation: Attract funding for departmental programs through venture capital, institutional grants, donor funds, and investor relations.
- Partnership Ecosystem Building: Establish and nurture partnerships with global trade bodies, financial institutions, foundations, and government agencies.
- SBO Investment Facilitation: Provide access to funding, resources, and advisory support to accelerate SBO growth and scaling.
- Program Financing Models: Support initiatives like LTIS, ERP, and TSGI with sustainable investment and co-financing strategies. Revenue Expansion: Drive partnership-based revenue through deal structuring, co-branded programs, and collaborative ventures.
Requirements:
- Master's in a related field
