Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and strategic HR Business Partner (Shared Services) to support the company's operational units by driving efficient people processes, policy compliance, and organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will work closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with company goals, while managing core HR functions such as employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and HR operations.
This role requires a strong mix of HR operational depth and stakeholder partnership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with departmental heads to identify HR priorities and develop actionable solutions.
- Lead and oversee employee life cycle activities (recruitment, onboarding, performance, development, exit).
- Analyze workforce trends and provide insights to support strategic HR decisions.
- Ensure employee data integrity and lead HRIS updates and compliance reports.
- Drive performance management cycles, appraisals, and feedback culture.
- Support organizational change, policy rollout, and talent engagement initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor on HR policies, Nigerian labor law, and employee relations.
- Collaborate with HR Shared Services team to ensure process standardization and data accuracy.
- Prepare and present monthly HR dashboards and reports to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Admin, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HRBP or advisory role.
- Solid understanding of HR policies, HRIS systems, and compliance standards.
- Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Certifications
- Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
