Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business leaders to understand organisational goals and develop HR strategies that support and drive these objectives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on HR-related matters, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development.
• Partner with department heads to assess workforce needs and design effective recruitment and staffing plans.
• Conduct interviews, evaluate candidates, and provide strategic hiring recommendations to ensure talent alignment.
• Provide expert guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions, fairly and consistently.
• Design and lead training programs on key topics such as performance management, workplace diversity, and harassment prevention.
• Analyse HR metrics to identify trends and recommend data-driven strategies for enhancing employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
• Ensure compliance with local labour laws and regulations, while proactively mitigating legal and reputational risks.
Contribute to broader HR initiatives and projects that enhance organisational capability and culture.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, PHRI) is highly desirable.
• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR leadership role, preferably within a dynamic or high-growth environment.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and organisational behaviour principles, especially within the Nigerian labour context.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to influence, coach, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive performance and cultural alignment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and related HR software tools.
Excellent project management skills and a keen attention to detail.
