Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Head Salad Chef to oversee salad preparation and presentation in our kitchen. The ideal candidate will bring innovation to menu design, ensure high-quality standards, and lead a small team to deliver fresh, healthy, and visually appealing salads.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and prepare a wide variety of salads and dressings.
Ensure consistent taste, portioning, and presentation.
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff on salad preparation and hygiene standards.
Manage inventory of fresh produce and ingredients, ensuring minimal waste.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
Collaborate with management to update menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences.
Requirements:
3–5 years of proven experience as a Salad Chef or in a similar culinary role.
Strong knowledge of salad varieties, garnishing, and healthy food trends.
Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
Creativity and attention to detail in food presentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
