Purpose Statement
The Head of Sales – Business (FX & Cross Border) is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue and transaction volume from FX sales, USD wallets, and cross-border payments. This individual will own and execute a robust go-to-market and client acquisition strategy for CredPal’s foreign exchange and international payment solutions targeted at SMEs and corporate clients.
You will be the driving force behind CredPal’s FX product adoption, with direct accountability for growing monthly FX volumes, acquiring active transacting businesses, and deepening usage per client.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to grow CredPal’s FX and cross-border business portfolio.
- Personally lead acquisition and relationship management of high-value business clients with FX and cross-border needs.
- Own and exceed targets for monthly FX volume, wallet funding, wire payments, and cross-border disbursement.
- Work closely with Product and Finance teams to align pricing, liquidity, and FX offerings to client needs.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements around FX and cross-border transactions.
- Identify and execute partnership opportunities (aggregators, platforms, trade organizations) to scale customer base.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and ensure high conversion through hands-on engagement.
- Track competitor offerings and market trends to inform product and pricing strategy.
- Drive client education and onboarding for FX products (wallets, cards, wire payments, etc.).
- Ensure adherence to KYC/AML requirements for business clients and work with Compliance to mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with internal operations, finance, and compliance teams to ensure smooth execution of FX deals.
- Represent CredPal at industry events, client presentations, and stakeholder meetings.
Professional Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years experience in B2B sales, preferably in fintech, banking, or FX-focused institutions.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding large-volume FX sales targets (min. $5M/month range).
- Deep understanding of FX markets, cross-border payment infrastructure, and regulatory environment.
- Strong business network and ability to open doors across SME and mid-market business segments.
- High-level negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and client relationship development independently.
- Comfortable with high accountability and data-driven reporting.
