A digitally driven financial institution committed to financial inclusion and innovative banking services are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to drive growth in their CASA (Current and Savings Account) business segment. The Head, CASA Business Segment will be responsible for leading deposit mobilization strategies, enhancing digital adoption, and expanding customer acquisition initiatives. This individual will oversee product penetration, drive transaction volume, and implement strategic initiatives to grow CASA balances and improve profitability.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth
* Lead a high-performing team to deliver N200B in new CASA deposits.
* Drive acquisition of 2 million new customers.
* Implement strategies to grow the CASA portfolio across retail and digital banking segments.
Digital & Customer Engagement
* Increase active CASA account ratio to 30%.
* Achieve 100% digital transaction adoption for CASA users.
* Ensure that 90% of CASA customers use at least one additional Bank product.
Cross-functional Collaboration
* Work closely with product, digital, and marketing teams to enhance user experience.
* Design and implement targeted campaigns and partnerships to attract and retain customers, especially in underbanked and digitally savvy communities.
Performance Management & Optimization
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), evaluate performance, and refine strategies to maximize outcomes.
* Ensure all activities align with risk, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
* MBA or professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) are an added advantage.
* 8–10 years of experience in retail banking or deposit mobilization.
* Minimum of 5 years in a senior or leadership role.
* Proven expertise in digital banking, customer lifecycle management, and execution of retail strategies.
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking.
* Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
* Ability to drive results through collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and operational efficiency.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
1. CASA Deposit Growth – Volume and value of deposits mobilized.
2. Customer Acquisition & Retention – Number of new and active CASA accounts.
3. Digital Adoption – Percentage of users performing digital transactions.
4. Product Cross-Sell – CASA-to-other-products usage ratio.
5. Campaign ROI – Impact of customer campaigns on acquisition and engagement.
