Job Description/Requirements
Vacancy: Head of Human Resources
We’re looking for an experienced HR leader to drive talent strategy, organizational culture, and people operations in a reputable educational institution.
Must have at least 15 years’ HR experience with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role, and a proven track record in education or similar sectors.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) is required
Postgraduate degree (MBA, M.Sc. HRM, or related field) is an added advantage
Strong knowledge of labour laws, employee relations, and HR best practices in the education sector
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Staff recruitment cycle time and quality of hires
Employee engagement and retention rates
Training and professional development participation rates
Compliance with labour regulations and institutional policies
Effectiveness of performance management systems
Contribution to institutional culture, values, and staff well-being initiatives
Experience in higher education or academic HR management is highly desirable.
Salary: Negotiable
