Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will provide full-spectrum HR support, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll administration, and compliance. This role requires someone who is proactive, highly organized, and passionate about employee well-being and HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes
- Facilitate seamless onboarding and orientation for new hires
Employee Relations:
- Address employee inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
- Resolve workplace conflicts and mediate disputes
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Benefits Administration:
- Manage employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies)
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payments
- Maintain updated and compliant employee records
Performance Management & Training:
- Support performance review cycles and goal-setting processes
- Facilitate employee development and internal training initiatives
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to Nigerian labor laws and regulations
- Identify and mitigate HR-related risks within the organization
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
- In-depth understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR policies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in HR software and systems
- Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information
