We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and highly motivated Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must be a chartered accountant with at least five (7) years of relevant work experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in line with regulatory and internal standards.
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable, receivables, and reconciliations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory payments.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with auditors and manage internal and external audit processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, policies, and practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 7 years proven experience in an accounting role.
- Experience in banking or financial services is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
